National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the PRC released City Climate Change Adaptation Initiative on 4 February 2016, with a view to enhance climate change adaptation of urban buildings and make cities a more pleasant place to live in. More and more consumers have begun to ask how to improve their indoor environment and how to make their homes more intelligent. There is growing demand for windows and doors that can create pleasant space to live in. How to integrate energy-efficient, fireproof and intelligent openings into high-performance windows and doors? How do house developers look at the future of fenestration against the backdrop of prevailing intelligent buildings? During this session,Chenglong Wan from China Academy Of Building Research will probe into indoor comfort and high performance windows and doors design. Mike Yang from MOMA will talk about fenestration intelligence.James Chen from Covestro Polymers (China) Co., Ltd. will give a speech on market driven window material innovation. Jie Ren from Beijing JIAYU Door Window and Curtain Wall Joint-Stock Co., Ltd will introduce fire resistant integrity for building windows and doors. Finally, Dahai Sun from Shanghai Yaohua Pilkington Glass Group Co., Ltd. will share his knowledge of the application of green energy-saving glass in the windows and doors.
